All soft fruit crops are irrigated and fertilisers applied. Usage and water needs are monitored daily by computer so only the exact amount of fertiliser and water is used. We use a unique wireless operating system on the farm to automatically open valves.

The Withers is now collecting run off water and feed from table tops to be re-used in our blueberry crop. This recycling system will be extended to reduce water run off from all fields and conserve water and fertiliser.
